Backend Developer

We're growing our team and looking for a backend developer who loves building systems that are fast, reliable, and built to scale. We care more about how you think than which framework is on your CV. If you understand the concepts below deeply, you'll do great here regardless of your stack.
What you'll work on
• Designing clean, well-documented REST APIs that power mobile and web clients • Modeling complex domains with many moving parts and relationships • Building for high concurrency and scale — load testing, rate limiting, and caching to stay fast under pressure • Authentication, sessions, and security as a first-class concern • Real-time features (websockets), background jobs, and scheduled tasks • Notification delivery and campaigns at scale • Offline sync and conflict resolution • Third-party integrations (payments, SMS/telecom, and more)
What we're looking for
• Strong grasp of data modeling and relational databases (solid SQL) • Solid programming skills in Python and TypeScript • Comfort with API design, auth, and security fundamentals • Experience with caching, queues, and background processing • A performance mindset — you profile before you guess • Testing, version control, and CI/CD as part of how you work • Real-time systems, high-traffic experience, and a security-first attitude
