Flutter Developer
About this opportunity
We build mobile applications that real people use every day, and we're looking for a Flutter developer to help move them forward. You'll work on apps that run on both iOS and Android from a single codebase, in Arabic first with proper right-to-left layouts, and designed to keep working when the connection isn't perfect. This is a hands-on role. You'll take features from a design or an idea through to something shipped and stable, working closely with our backend team on the APIs behind them. On-site in Damascus, present in the office daily.
Build & Ship Features
Design and build screens and features in Flutter, from the layout down to the state management and the network calls. Turn designs and requirements into clean, responsive UI that works across a range of phones and screen sizes.
Arabic-First & RTL
Build interfaces that are Arabic-first with correct right-to-left layout, fonts, and formatting. Handle bilingual content gracefully so the app feels native to Arabic-speaking users.
Offline & Reliability
Design for low-connectivity conditions — caching, local storage, and offline-first behaviour so the app stays usable when the network drops. Handle sync, errors, and edge cases so nothing is lost.
APIs & Integration
Consume REST APIs, handle authentication and tokens, and integrate features like push notifications. Work with the backend team to shape the endpoints your screens need.
Quality & Release
Keep the codebase clean and maintainable, test your work, and help get builds onto the App Store and Google Play. Track down and fix bugs reported from real devices.
What we're looking for
Solid Flutter and Dart experience with at least one app you've shipped or worked on seriously. Comfortable with state management (Riverpod, Bloc, or Provider), REST APIs, and Git. Arabic/RTL and offline-first experience are a strong plus. Methodical, independent, and able to own a feature from start to finish. On-site in Damascus.
